Beginnings, as much as they are exciting, can be very daunting and troublesome. The first step in marking that beginning can be even more confusing. You want to answer the perpetual question "How to do it" and the even bigger question "How to keep doing it".
I live by the quote in the image above. Many a times have I discontinued something just because I did not get the results I expected or as early as I would have wanted. It does not help when there are those days when I find myself fighting hard not to go back to my comfort zone. But over time I realized the key is to take small steps that tend to get progressively drastic with time.
Very much like this first post. I am flabbergasted. I do not know what to say. Well I do have a lot of things to say but what goes first. But my small step today is to present all the small steps I am willing to take to achieve my goal.
Here is the list I came up with:
1. Early to bed, early to rise!-with at least 7 hours of sleep. (Currently too erratic)
2. Work out 6 days a week. (Currently almost 5 days a week)
3. Start a food diary. (In progress courtesy MyFitnessPal)
4. No more sugary, carbonated and alcoholic drinks.
5. Write more often, about anything and everything.
6. Take good photographs and edit them even better.
